In yet another sign the Chiefs are searching for help at wide receiver, they signed veteran Ashley Lelie and he was at practice this morning.
It's too early to say whether or how much Lelie can help but he gives them something they truly don't have, which is a speed receiver. So if he's close to what he was with Denver earlier in his career, it's probably a solid addition for the Chiefs.

Pest Pal don't evenwrite anything unless you know what you are talking about. The Chiefs didn't sign Ashley Lee. I don't think they are signing girls yet even though some of the players might play like it.

i realize they are different types of receivers and matt jones is not the speed burner ashley lelie is, but c'mon, matt jones could help a lot of clubs, even with his history.
They were listing his numbers on the radio this morning, really slacked off over the last few years - hope he doesn't turn out to be a bust.
It's great to see Pioli & Haley continue to evaluate all areas of the team and discontinue the "work with the guys that you are stuck with" attitude from the past. These are the kinds of incremental improvements that the Patriots perfected while building repeatably contending teams. It's not just the high risk, high profile signings that get teams on the right rack. Keep up the good work!
