Chiefs defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey was one of the heroes of last year's BCS championship game when LSU smacked Ohio State. It stands to reason he should know something about college football and what it takes for a team to win the national title.

When Florida and Oklahoma play next month in Miami, Dorsey's got the Gators.

"Whoever wins the SEC championship," he said. "In my eyes, anyway."

Full disclosure, Dorsey's skills as a handicapper took a hit last Saturday when he incorrectly picked then-top-ranked Alabama to beat Florida. The Gators won, 31-20, at the Georgia Dome. They'll meet the Sooners on Jan. 8 in Miami.

Florida is the early favorite to beat Oklahoma, and Dorsey said he agrees. Then again, he said, last year's LSU team would have had no trouble with either Florida or Alabama.

"I'll always say we would've won," Dorsey said.

What about Oklahoma?

Dorsey thought for a moment.

"LSU," he said.
