Croyle says he will start vs. Tennessee

Brodie Croyle confirmed he will be the starting quarterback in the Chiefs' next game on Oct. 10 against Tennessee at Arrowhead Stadium.

Croyle began throwing in individual drills in practice last week and has been cleared for contact.

"If I’m healthy, I’m going to go," Croyle said today. "I just have to make sure that over the next two weeks that everything keep going the way it’s supposed to be and we don’t have any setbacks. If that’s so, then we’ll be ready to go against Tennessee."

OH THANK YOU LORD IN HEAVEN - our savior Croyle is coming back to rescue the chiefs and Carl Peterson. Perhaps he can cure cancer and end the war in Iraq as well... maybe even remedy our failing economic status!

"If I', healthy, I'm going to go..." What they crap is this? Of course you are going to play if you are healthy you southern idiot. I do not want you to play so that we get any spark either, I want you to play so that we can replace you come the draft next year. YOU HAVE SHOWN ME NOTHING! I don't care if you are good, you are the weakest body in the NFL. I can not spend one more damn game watching the leagues worst replacements taking snaps.

This is like saying that there is one more life raft on the titanic but it only holds three people.

Missing piece!

After watching the Chiefs be completely incapable of fielding a competitive team for 4 weeks, I find it hard to believe Croyle will be the spark that puts this team into contention. It's conceivable to think that once we get out "starter" back we could make some noise, but after watching 4 weeks of unexplainable losses, and 1 week of promise, I find it hard to believe he is our missing piece.

Sorry to tell you all but Croyle will not get to the 3td quater healthy. He is going to get hurt. This O line sucks. They play like a bunch of high school players. Croyle is going to get killed behind this line because the titans know how to rush the QB

Croyle its best to get some Life insurance because you are going to need it.

Red Necks in KC

Didn't know there were so many ignorant red necks in KC. Croyle has guts just to walk back on the field. Being thrown to the Lions in the Roman Coliseum took less courage. Fans like you screaming for injury, the o-line on their knees bowing as they greet the defensive line into the backfield, and Croyle seeing death inches in front of him throws a touchdown strike. Croyle deserves better. A better line. Receivers that can get separation. Fans that appreciate his effort on a dismal team and yes, maybe if he's smart he will look for a team next year that has enough pieces in place that he can be successful. KC for now is just a meat grinder for any QB.

A TRUE FAN! First, Brodie is brave for walking back out on any field, good line or not the QB will get hit, and when it comes he will be hurt. If Damon or Tyler had the time that Brodie needs not to get hit, they would be two great QB's. Brodie needs to follow Trent Green. Now back to the last home game, you say the line fails, you say the QB's are bad, Tony G was open four times with no coverage and the pass was not thrown, because Carl wanted to give the win to the team and not put the focus on a great stable that has been there catch and catch after catch for the team. This shows once again that Carl calls the shots and Herm has little say so. Speaking of Red Necks, what kind of a name is RNOBAR. I say down with Carl and lets get drinks back rnobars. Peace
