The busy off-season comes to an end for the Chiefs this morning at 10 on a cool and cloudy Wisconsin day. The Chiefs will hold a walk-through (football slang for a slow-paced practice of usually no more than an hour) and then a real practice in the afternoon.

I have no idea yet of what to expect from this team. Herm Edwards' sense is only this from a conversation I had with him the other day: “One thing about these guys I already know: They’re going to play hard. We’ll play with a lot of energy.’’
