Goodness me.. Sometimes i find myself yelling at my television and telling it that I would have some smarter moves done with trading and managing the players. This is what Im talking about.
1) Trade Donnie Edwards - Draft Pick
2) After this year, and I know it seems stupid but, trade Tony Gonzalez for a high draft pick.. Brad Cottem looked good in the pre-season. I love Tony, but he's getting up there in years, and will only probably have a few left. While he's still proforming at a high standard, get a high draft pick for him.
3) I was going to say trade..Larry Johnson, but after that 198 yd. proformance, I say never mind.
4) Use 1st rd draft pick on a GOOD QB.. Use 2nd rd draft pick on a GOOD WR.. Use (Tony's) 2nd rd pick on a GOOD RT.. Use 3rd rd dp on a GOOD DT.. Use 4 on a GOOD LB.. Use rest at your will.......
5) Maybe try to trade for antwuan(sp) boldin from arizona ( maybe Tony or Donnie..? or both? ) Boldin's not happy there anyway which would make it an ideal situation to get a great WR cheap to team with D-Bo.
6) With the exception of this past Broncos game, Ive seen Larry run it up the middle twice for 3 yards, and then we pass for 2 more and have to punt. Do you know why Larry got 198 last week? A weak Denver defense and he didn't run in STRAIGHT TO THE PEOPLE THAT WERE TRYING TO KILL HIM twevle times in a row. He went to the outside too.
7) MAKE SMART DECISIONS

I see where you're going with that but honestly you're not getting much for Donnie Edwards. Tony G is the best TE of all time but he is a TE and an old one at that. I say the best you're getting for him is a 4th round. Not much of a demand for TE's these days. I think you keep both of those guys because of their veteran leadership. Tony G may be a little selfish but he is Tony G and should retire a Chief.
