Demorrio Williams joined Donnie Edwards and Napoleon Harris as an observer at practice today. Williams has a cracked bone in his hand and said he's been told by doctors that he won't play in Saturday's night at Miami or in the final preseason game on Aug. 28 against St. Louis at Arrowhead Stadium.
Williams said he would be available to play in the Sept. 7 regular season opener in New England but he would probably have to wear a cast.
Rookie free agent Wes Dacus starting in Williams' spot at outside linebacker.
Edwards is hopeful of returning to practice next week.

It seems that this has really been an area of focus since offseason began. I hope that Williams and or Edwards will be ready for New England in a couple of weeks.
