The Chiefs have yet to contact the agent for free agent kicker Jay Feely but that could certainly change. While Nick Novak and Connor Barth have kicked field goals well in training camp, the Chiefs aren't at ease with the idea of using a kicker without significant NFL experience.
That wouldn't be an issue with Feely, who has kicked for Atlanta, the Giants and Miami.
While with the Giants, Feely worked with Mike Priefer, now the Chiefs special teams coach.
"We'll sit back and see what situation out there is best for Jay," said Glenn Schwartzman, Feely's agent. "Right now, we're just kind of assessing things rather than aggressively seeking them out."

I spoke with carl and the organization. Can anyone say Robbie Gould-Pro bowl kicker for the bears. Patriots cut him, Baltimore cut him and Da Bears give him a shot well you know the rest. He has a younger brother Christopher waiting for a call from the Chiefs to go to River Falls and solidify the Special teams unit once and for all. Anyone remember the kickoffs out of bounds with a veteran kicker?
Carl-Herm-Clark get this kid in camp and get us back to 1969! We're tired of losing!
