I'm sure they will get tired of his missed tackles, and blown coverage's. He had his good games with us, but his mediocre, to bad games far out numbered his good. But, he has never played on a team with much of a pass rush, so he probably does look like a stud when the QB doesn't have 10 seconds to throw the ball. I still say they will get tired of his missed tackles and blown coverage's.

Its the curse of the Chiefs. You let someone go for underachieving and they somehow find a way to pick up their quality of play.

Im beginning to think that the Chiefs might need to pay more attention to the systems that college players run, and try to find the best players that fit into the Chiefs defense instead of just picking great athletes and hoping they pan out. Im sure that they take that into consideration when drafting, but its amazing how many players can leave KC and become viable players in other defenses.

Thank you Pioli and Haley for letting Pollard go! He is playing great football here in Houston. He is one of the main reasons the Texans defense has improved so dramatically in just the last 5 games. I thought Pioli was a genius. Maybe he just needed to be in a defense that wants to be aggressive and get after the quarterback.

Hey if you are psychic and know who is going to get injured during the season before the season ever starts then let Pioli know, the Chiefs would love to have you! Pollard is a bum. Thats why it took so long for someone to pick him up.

Pollard was released after the last pre-season game, 9/5, and was picked up by the Texans on 9/24 which was 3 days before the week 3 game. The Texans picked him up because they lost some guys to injury in the secondary. I agree that Pollard was no more than a one trick pony. If he didn't lay a guy out, they ran 50 yards for a TD. Haley didn't want to put up with Pollards lack of tackling ability and the other teams in the NFL didn't bite on him for over 2 weeks, so that says a lot about how the other teams viewed his ability as well!

As I said he wasn't signed until after week one had passed due to $ ramifications...you referenced a specific date, not I: aft week one means just what it says.

hailme & egoli together have no clue as to what they're doing...they are winless 0-10 frauds, only victor in '09 K Succop at 1-0.

You were very vague in your comment. The other poster simply stated it took a long time for someone to pick him up. You said after week one, so that implies after the 1st game. The simple fact that a starter from a year ago sat around for 21 days before a team picked him up just magnifies how much lack of respect the other 31 teams in the NFL had for him. Everyone wants to improve, and everyone wants to get better, and while everyone had the players they thought were going to give them that chance, Pollard sat and waited. Only until injuries occurred did the Texans pick him up. His salary is very minimal compared to other players with the same vested time, and position. So no one, not even the Brown, Rams, Redskins, Panthers or Bills thought he would improve their team!

Pioli and Haley can not fix in 7 games, what Herm and Peterson destroyed in 3 years. Have we all forgot that Herm took a 10-6 team, made them 9-7, 4-12, and 2-14! Complain about all the moves you want, but it was Peterson and Herm that allowed Allen to get traded, and keep a bunch of players that can't keep up with the level of talent needed to play in the NFL. There is no clean sweep of a roster in the NFL, so we have to realize that we have to make what we can out of these hacks until we get the players that will play the way a winning organization plays.

We have the right GM in charge to make our team relevant again. If you want quick results, go play Madden!

Also learn to count...with the week 1 period being non sequitur as I referenced vis a vis teams not wanting to pay a vested veteran an full contract amount, Pollard was signed aft week 1 & before game 3 - precisely, a period of less than 2 weeks - less than 10 days from the beginning week 2 Tuesday 9/15 to Thursday 9/24 when HOU signed him - that works out to 9 days, hardly "a long time" as you plead.

egoli & hailme are failures now, will remain failures - the Chiefs as a team & individual players therein have regressed result of the poor coaching & management of the 2 buffoons egoli & hailme... one & done.

He was released on the 5th, picked up on the 24th. He cleared waivers, and became a free agent. Money had nothing to do with it. Instead of complaining, why don't you offer up your solution. Calling the GM and head coach names hasn't changed anything, so maybe you need to think of something else.

Yes, egoli & hailme are certainlty doing a bang up job ... Herm Edwards/Carl Peterson were far and away better football men then these 2 johnny come lately's, scudd & toad.

It's impossible for you to be if you truly believe the garbage your typing. I'd take a new direction and a new attitude any day over what we had. 9-7, 4-12, 2-14..... Can't go 13-3 with a 2-14 team. Roster turnover takes time, and Peterson and Edwards didn't have it. Peterson is in the USFL, and Herm is jumping from NFL network, ESPN, and any other football media that will stand him for the short 30 minutes he is on. If we would have stayed with them, nothing would have gotten better. The problem with your list, is they are not stars on their teams. The majority are not even starting. So I guess your proving a point you didn't intend to make. Pioli and Haley didn't want to build a team around a bunch of career back ups!!

- them (Herm & Carl) went 1-4 over their last 5 games in charge...while hailme & egoli have carved out a 1-6 (1-10 all games) niche since they took squat KC: which begs the question - what is it has gotten 'better'? The losses be now a paler shade of white? Yes what a relief to be under the auspices nee capable hands of the dundering deux egoli & hailme ... 1-10 in 2009. Improvement never looked so...wrong.

Now that Page is done, there goes our season. I really was hoping for a Super Bowl victory! Seriously though, this is unfortunate, but correct me if im wrong, Pollard and Page both started for us last year, that tells me that they probably played different positions. With how undisciplined Pollard was at his safety spot, I find it difficult to believe he would be able to adjust to another. I have no problem with Pollard being cut, would have been nice to get a late round pick for him though.

Pollard may be a bum, but he is certainly better than Daniels. I agree, nobody can predict injuries just like nobody could have predicted the Chiefs this season. There's always next year, assuming Pioli and Haley actually have a plan in mind.

Haley keeps tearing it up and rebuilding with TEs and WR. No wonder he wears a clown suit. In the NFL you need 22 starters, apparently all Haley need is has beens at WR.
Keep buying into the Pioli/Haley PATIENCE and you will wait with a loser for years to come.
