Jon McGraw was the starter at free safety during the portion of practice open to the local media. Jarrad Page was the backup. McGraw started for Page in Washington last Sunday when Page was inactive because of a sore shoulder.
McGraw was one of the better Chiefs defenders as they held Washington without a touchdown. McGraw had a sack, two other tackles for negative yardage and a knockdown of Washington quarterback Todd Collins.

This isn't about ability it's about attitude, McGraw has been with the Jets and the Lions before us and never made an impact, he's at the tail end of his career, a back up on any other team and is just like the rest of the crew Pioli has brought in (minus Cassel, who with the exception of 1 drive is still a ??). and all Pioli and Haley care about is blind faith in their "vision" of guys with fired up attitudes and hustle in practice. It's all mind games this year, that's it. We've scrapped together a bunch of Patriot retreads to patch together the season in hopes of drafting and signing more "like minded" individuals next year. We'll see but so far I'm just not seeing the personnel "genius" of the GM thus far, I'm seeing he can only tolerate people who kiss his tail.
