The Philadelphia Eagles have signed former Missouri tight end Martin "T" Rucker to the practice squad.
Rucker, a better receiver than a blocker, should be a better fit in the Eagles offense where he'll re-unite with former Tiger wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia's first-round pick this season.
Rucker (6-5, 260) was a fourth round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2008, and after missing most of the season with an inury, caught two passes for 17 yards in five games as a rookie. He made one start.
Rucker set Missouri's all-time record with 203 career receptions.
Rucker, who is from St. Joseph, was waived by the Browns on Tuesday. The Eagles made room for Rucker by waiving tight end Rob Myers from their practice squad.

Come on Pioli. Are you kidding? You let guys like Rucker and Troupe slip by while we field literally the worst starting TEs in the league? How do you explain that we have 40 mil of cap space unspent with free agents like these out there?
Total BS. And you wonder why the stadium is half full on opening day.
